Awareness is the first step when it comes to battling breast cancer. You can't a solve a problem you don't even know exist, neither can you cure a disease you know nothing about.

Before we continue, let us pause for a few facts:

* One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

* Each year it is estimated that over 220,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die.

* According to the W.H.O., in developing countries, the majority of women diagnosed with breast cancer do not survive because their cancer is detected too late.

* Although breast cancer in men is rare, an estimated 2,150 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and approximately 410 will die each year (this is for guys thinking they're safe).

WHAT IS BREAST CANCER?

Breast cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the breast. Breast cancer is a very serious disease condition, and as such requires serious attention and stringent precautions.

Breast cancer causes severe bone pain, swollen lymph nodes, shortness of breath, or yellow skin. All eventually leads to death if not treated early.

Do someone good today by sharing this with them. The fight to kick cancer out of our world lies in OUR hands. Don't forget, we're "BUILDING A CANCER-FREE GENERATION", and together, we'll WIN.
