Do you know that your fingernails provide make very good homes to germs? Potentially dangerous microbes e.g Salmonella & E. coli, find the underside of our nails as good hiding space (especially artificial nails).
Avoid biting (& chewing, particularly in kids), keep your nails short, do extra washing of the nails when washing your hands.
These germs contribute to foodpoisoning too.
