- Margarine is much healthier than butter. According to Mail Online, having reanalysed, a study originally carried out in the late Sixties and early Seventies, the scientists have confirmed what many of us have believed to be the truth for years. Margarine isn't better for you than butter. In fact, margarine is actually more damaging to your health than butter. Margarine is a highly synthetic and unpleasant-tasting concoction laced with additives and cheap, low-grade oils refined on an industrial scale. Worst still, without colourings margarine isn't yellow at all, but actually an appetite-crushing shade of sludgy grey.
- Eggs are very bad because of high cholesterol and also cause heart problems. This is a big and total lie, in fact according to a Harvard School of Public Health study, there is no significant link between egg consumption and heart disease. Even, recent research shows that moderate consumption of eggs does not have a negative impact on cholesterol. Research suggests that it is saturated fat that raises cholesterol rather than dietary cholesterol.
- Baby formula is much better than breast milk for children. Another meal from the table of lies. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) joins other organizations such as the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Dietetic Association (ADA), and the World Health Organization (WHO) in recommending breastfeeding as the best for babies. Breastfeeding helps defend against infections, prevent allergies, and protect against a number of chronic conditions. Besides, milk is a living substance made by each mother for her individual infant, a process that cannot be duplicated in a factory.
- Milk was recommended for coating the stomach and alleviating stomach ulcers. The truth is milk can make ulcer worse. Milk actually provides brief relief of ulcer pain because it coats the stomach lining. But milk also stimulates the stomach to produce more acid and digestive juices, which can aggravate ulcers.
- Children with asthma were told to stay in enclosed pool areas because the humidity was good for their asthmatic condition. Now research suggests that the chlorine in the air from the pools actually aggravates and makes the asthma worse.
- Bloodletting was once proven to cure most illnesses. Now it is considered totally ineffective.
- The most obvious example of all is the fact that there are thousands of drugs that have been approved by the FDAs because they were scientifically proven to cure or prevent disease, in addition to having been touted as safe. Then, years later, they have been taken off the market because they had been newly proven to either not cure or prevent those diseases as originally thought, or those drugs were found to have such terribly adverse side effects that they are simply too dangerous for people to use. The point is, the things we are being told by the medical community as “fact” is simply not fact at all. They are just the ”current theories” and ”thoughts of the day,” which historically are often shown to be not true. It’s sad when doctors appear on TV stating things as facts when they should be qualifying their comments with such phrases as ”it appears, based on the current research we have; it seems that; we believe this to be true, however, we also know that as more research and observations are evaluated this may change in the future.” Thank you.

True Medical Lies.
Over the years there have been so many postulations made by scientific/medical researchers which we've had to believe as though they were true. Of late, most of these postulations have been discovered and proven to be false. The question now remains, why are doctors still dwelling on these misleading 'hypotheses' (which they've tagged 'scientifically proven') up till date and in their everyday medical practice?
Contained in the lines below are a few of those hypotheses which have been proven to be wrong.
Very educative and informative, nice one. . .
